Pricing notes

The base currency for this trip is the pound Sterling (UK/British pounds).  The US$ prices shown are our current estimate of the sterling price when converted to dollars.  We will take care of the conversion for you of course, but please be aware that the dollar price on your actual payments may be a bit higher or lower due to exchange rate swings.  We base our dollar pricing on the actual exchange rates used by our funds transfer service.

Trip Price Includes

Price includes approximately 400 miles of driving and firing on mainline steam locomotives, seven nights of lodging in WE guest accommodations (shared bath), WE orientation and briefing.  

In January, February and December clients will have 5 round trips at Wolsztyn. During the other months certain weeks will be 4 round trips at Wolsztyn with
one day on the narrow gauge at Smigiel; the remaining weeks will have 3 round trips at Wolsztyn and 3 at Wroclaw either with the 2-8-2 Tkt48 or the GWR 2-6-2.

Not Included In Trip Price

Travel to and from Wolsztyn, as well as meals during the program are not included.  Also, see note regarding obligatory gratuity of about US$ 100. It is also traditional to buy a beer or two for the Polish drivers you work with after each turn, depending on their desires and the time of day. Most movement around Wolsztyn is on foot, as most everything is within reasonable walking distance, though taxis are available.
