This summer, Sail Training International is celebrating its 50th anniversary of Tall Ship Races. The Bark Europa, a 3-masted, square-rigged sailing ship is once again participating in this exciting event. Although geared toward young people 15 –25 years old, anyone can participate. Board the ship in one of four beautiful European ports, or join the crew for all four legs and disembark in Antwerp. If you love to sail and want a hands-on experience, here’s your chance to learn all there is to know about sailing a tall ship. Let the races begin!

Our crossings are perfect for adventurers looking for active and cost effective holidays. Learn how to steer, navigate, climb masts, set sail, and do canvas work while visiting exciting and colorful ports of call.
Start in North America and work your way to Great Britain or sail from Ushuaia, Argentina to Cape Town, South Africa. In autumn of 2006 leave Northern Europe and disembark Ushuaia, Argentina. An added plus is that you can choose length of stay on board, too. Spend as many as 77 days at sea or as few as 10 – the choice is yours.
